Local Area

Penrhos Parc is set in one of the most beautiful areas of Mid Wales. Rich in the flora and fauna of the lush Welsh valleys, complete with stunning views and surrounded by historic towns and villages. There are country estates, imposing houses and gardens, and small secluded villages with all sorts of treasures close by, all just waiting to be discovered at the easy pace of country living.

There is the famous Powys Castle, a summer haunt of the Royal Family, with it's superb terraced gardens and one of the finest collections of painting and furniture in Wales, or the 17th Century or  Glansevern Hall with 18 acres of wonderful gardens.

Take a steam train ride on the Welshpool and Llanfair Light Railway or take a cruise along the beautiful and tranquil Montgomery Canal

Browse around the shops in the picturesque market town of Welshpool and eat in one of the many award winning restaurants or country pubs.
